CYBEX TRAVEL SYSTEM

The nice thing about travel systems is that you can usually customize them to your needs. At CYBEX, we offer different travel systems, depending on the stroller you want to go for. For example, our Priam travel system consists of an infant car seat, frame, cot and seat pack, while our Balios travel system consists of the Balios S Lux (which is a frame with a seat pack already attached), an extra cot and a Cloud G Pro.

The best baby travel system to buy for you and your child depends on both of your needs. Keep in mind that the car seat and stroller should fit your lifestyle when used on their own, but also when used together as a travel system. 

Usually, a child can use a travel system until they've outgrown their stroller. You will start with a stroller frame and an infant car seat that can be used from birth till approx. 18 months, then move on to a cot that can be used till approx. six months before switching to a seat pack that can be used till approx. 4 years. Always check guidelines up front for your travel systems to be on the safe side.

Travel systems are designed to be used from birth, therefore, it's a good idea to get a travel system before your baby is born and then switch to a cot/seat pack once your child is old enough. 

Once you can make the switch from cot to seat pack, your child will be able to sit up in their travel system. This usually occurs when your baby is approx. 6 months old.  

The reason why many parents opt to buy a travel system is convenience. They were designed so you can easily attach your infant car seat to your stroller frame once you're out the car and then use that same stroller frame even after your child has outgrown their infant car seat. That means, you will have a system that will accompany you for your child's early years without needing to purchase anything else.
