How can I clean my car seat?

Car seats can be cleaned using a vacuum cleaner or damp cloth. Sand or other dirt beneath the cover can also be removed in this way. To clean the plastic parts of the car seat wipe them with a cloth using a mild detergent and warm water. (Warning: Please do not use chemical detergents or bleaching agents under any circumstances.) Please note that a car seat should never be dismantled for cleaning. Please always refer to your car seat’s User Guide when carrying out care and maintenance on your car seat. Generally the seat covers are machine washable at a maximum temperature of 30˚C on a delicate cycle. If you wash them at a higher temperature, the cover fabric might lose its color or shrink. Please wash the cover separately and never dry it by machine or in direct sunlight. (Warning: Only the cover of the car seat can be machine washed. The car seat itself is not machine washable.) Should you wish to clean a car seat more thoroughly than recommended above, you will have to have it cleaned professionally. Please ask the retailer who sold you the car seat to refer you to a professional service.

What does TOG 4 mean?

TOG 4 is the thermal insulation rating of the Snogga Mini footmuff. This means that the footmuff will help to keep your child warm in temperatures ranging from -10˚C and up, when combined with the appropriate clothing. Always be sure to check on your child while outside, and take appropriate action if you notice any discomfort.

What is Thinsulate™?

Thinsulate™ is an innovative material composed of synthetic fibers. Thinsulate™ is used as the filling for our Snogga footmuffs, making them lightweight, compressible, and resistant to damp conditions. Thinsulate™ also performs well when wet, and is warmer than conventional down filling in the same conditions.

The Snogga Mini car seat footmuff is designed for a universal fit, giving you excellent freedom of choice when it comes to matching it to your car seat or travel system. It fits every car seat of the CYBEX and gb car seat portfolio, and has been crash-tested to ensure its safe use in our seats. If you want to use the Snogga Mini in a car seat from another brand then it will fit in any car seat using a 3-point or 5-point harness. Test whether the Snogga Mini fits with your car seat before purchase, making sure that the car seat’s harness rests snugly against your child’s body at all times.

The Snogga Mini is rated TOG 4. Combined with appropriate clothing, it will help keep your child warm in temperatures from -10˚C and up. The Snogga Mini is machine washable at 30˚C using a gentle or delicate setting. Afterwards it should ideally be put in the tumble dryer on a low setting to make the filling fluffy again.
