CYBEX Anoris T2 i-Size wins
the Compasso D'Oro International Award
CYBEX is proud to announce that its Anoris T2 i-Size, the world’s first car seat with an integrated full-body airbag, has won the Compasso d´Oro International Award, recognized by ADI – Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (Association for Industrial Design).
Established in 1954 and conceived by Gio Ponti, the Compasso d'Oro ADI Award is the oldest and most prestigious design award in the world. Initially created to recognize Italian design, since 2014, ADI has also introduced international editions of the Compasso d’Oro Award, each focused on globally relevant design themes.
This year’s theme is Designing Future Society for Our Lives. As an award-winning product, being in line with the theme and the specific sub-theme Saving Lives in the mobility category, Anoris T2 is catalogued and entrusted to the care of the ADI Design Museum in Milan, in collaboration with relevant governmental bodies such as the Regional Superintendence of the Italian Ministry of Culture. It also becomes a permanent part of the Historical Collection of the Compasso d’Oro ADI Award in Milan, Italy.
The official awards ceremony took place on September 5 at the Auditorium of the Italy Pavilion during EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Japan. On this prestigious occasion, CYBEX was honored with this distinguished award. The event welcomed several prominent stakeholders, including Dimitri S. Kerkentzes, Secretary General of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), Luciano Galimberti, President of ADI, and Mario Vattani, Italy’s Commissioner General for Expo 2025 Osaka.
